Learn Quran Tafsir

1. Translation: This program caters to individuals with limited time. The learning process begins with understanding each word’s meaning, followed by a literal translation, and concludes with a conversational and idiomatic interpretation of the entire verse.

2. Tafsīr: In this program, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the Quran, including its literal, conversational, and idiomatic translations for each verse.

Tafsir: Arabic: تفسير‎, Romanized: Tafsīr. It is an Arabic term, refers to “explanation”, “exegesis” and “uncovering”. In the Holy Quran, Allah SWT has explained the word Tafsir further: وَلَا يَاْتُوْنَكَ بِمَثَلٍ اِلَّا جِئْنٰكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَاَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيْرًا “And they do not come to you with an example (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Qur’an), except that We bring you the truth (against that similitude or example) and an excellent interpretation thereof.”. (Al-Furqan: 33). ‘Ilm al-Tafsir (The Science of Exegesis) is The science of explanation of the Holy Qurʾān, the sacred scripture of Islam. It is considered the most significant science of the Quran. The Subject-Matter of Tafsir: The Scholars of Tafsir agree that the subject matter of Tafsir is Allah’s speech in the Holy Quran.
